- With iOS 10, you can indeed delete some of the Apple stock apps, including the Mail app. Try deleting the Mail app entirely. Go to Settings Storage and wait for the list of apps to populate. - You may also want to try restarting your device. Simply press and hold the sleep/wake (on/off) button until you see the red slider. Then slide the slider. Wait a few seconds. Then restart again.
